GOOD MENTAL HEALTH
Mental Health is a vital aspect to each person's quality of life. It encompasses the needs of all persons including all age groups. We are all potential users of mental health services whether in the form of a family doctor, a counselor/psychologist, a support group or a psychiatrist. It is important to monitor the state of mental health of ourselves and those we care about. In this way we are able to provide encouragement and support to seek outside help before we are forced to cope with a crisis situation which may drain our resources and energy.
Mental health affects every aspect of our lives. We are in today's world constantly balancing the demands of work, family and financial obligations. When excessive anxiety because of these demands creates conflict and physical symptoms, we need to take notice and take measures to address our problems before they become unbearable and appear unsolvable. Many situations do have a solution when we work through a process that helps us see realistic alternatives and are willing to use the resources to help us through it.
